Our story, est 2026

One of one vintage, sourced worldwide.

Sammy Leigh Vintage started with a love for one-of-a-kind pieces and a belief that the best fashion has already been made. Every item in the collection is hand-picked for quality, character and cut.

We source from markets, estates and private collections worldwide, searching for pieces that deserve a second life and a new story. Silk and linen dresses, wool coats, cashmere, leather bags, evening and cocktail dresses, scarves, trench coats and boots.

Each piece is inspected, mended where it needs it, and photographed exactly as it arrives, so what you see is the piece you get. The most sustainable garment is the one that already exists.

Making a new piece of clothing costs something before anyone wears it. Fibre has to be grown or extracted, spun, dyed, finished and shipped, and most of that cost is paid in water, energy and chemistry rather than in money. A garment that already exists has paid that cost once, decades ago.

Selling it again does not add to it. That is the quiet argument for vintage, and it is a better one than novelty: every piece that finds a second owner is a piece that did not need to be manufactured. We are not asking anyone to buy less. We are saying that what is already here is worth wearing, and that most of it was made better than what would replace it. A great deal of what passes through a sourcing operation is good clothing that is not right for the shop. Sending it onward is better than storing it, and far better than discarding it.

SLV is committing a share of the clothing it sources to organizations supporting survivors of domestic violence. People leaving a violent home often leave with nothing, and arriving somewhere with clothes that fit and look like your own is not a small thing.

Send us a piece

You have clothes. We know where they should go.

A wardrobe nobody is quite sure what to do with is the most common way good clothing ends up in a bin bag. Send it here instead. What suits the shop is cleaned, mended and listed one piece at a time, and a share of what comes in goes to organizations supporting survivors of domestic violence.
